Hi, I’M Coach Bry.

There are many factors that play into an athletes successful performance. I am passionate about helping athletes understand the power their brain has in elevating their game to the next level.

Mental skills training is NOT about avoiding uncomfortable feelings. It is about gaining tools to perform well when those feelings come up.

I strive to help athletes uncover the beliefs and attitudes that keep them from performing to their potential. Through coaching sessions with me, athletes will learn proven mental strategies and tools to help them get to the next level and perform to their potential.

About Me

I started my sports journey with basketball and soccer, playing competitively and traveling around the west coast to different tournaments. I attended Lehi High School in Utah, played basketball, and won a state championship in volleyball. I then pursued my dream of playing college basketball at Southern Oregon University where I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Physical Education and a Psychology minor.

Since graduating, I started coaching basketball for Club Utah and now help run the club. I train athletes of all ages on basketball-specific skills to help them prepare for any situation the game throws at them. I also run camps for Breakthrough Basketball.

I then went on to become a Certified Mental Game Coaching Professional through Peak Sports Performance. Over the last 20 years of playing sports and the last 3 years of coaching, I have seen how critical it is for athletes to understand how their brain, thoughts, and emotions impact performance.

I am passionate about helping athletes in any sport grow through mental performance coaching and become better athletes and better people. The tools athletes will gain through mental coaching sessions go beyond just their sport.

I am also an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and love Jesus Christ! Each day I strive to become a better version of myself and continually strive to help others do the same through my coaching. I love including this perspective in my coaching for the athletes that desire it.
